Payment – I do not accept insurance. My hourly rate is $150 per therapy session and is due one week after services rendered. Sliding scale is available for those in need. I am happy to provide a superbill for you to submit. It is your responsibility to determine if your insurance will reimburse you for therapy. I accept Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.
Therapy – Specializing in EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and DBT.
Parenting support – raising a child or adolescent with neuro-differences can be challenging and anxiety-provoking for parents who only want the best for their children. Managing your own stress level around parenting issues can help the whole family get back to the important business of loving each other.
I am not completing learning disability evaluations at this time due to the amount of time spent face to face during testing. I may take a limited number of ADHD evaluations as the face to face time is much less.
ADHD diagnostic evaluation – This evaluation looks carefully at ADHD symptoms and other difficulties associated with the disorder. Selected subtests from the WISC-V or WAIS-IV will be given to measure processing speed and working memory. I use the TOVA to provide an objective measure of attention and inhibitory control. Rating scales will also be utilized to provide subjective information regarding functioning.
Gifted program eligibility assessment and private school admission testing – administering IQ tests and/or academic tests.
Growth is important to me. My evaluations may be supervised by Leihua Edstrom Ph.D, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
Evaluations – Evaluation rate is $200 per hour; which includes testing, scoring and writing. My evaluations are not covered by insurance. Some clients have used a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for evaluations. There is a 3.0% fee when using an HSA or credit card for evaluations.
- Payment is due at time of service for testing that takes 2 hours or less.
- For package evaluations, 25% of total cost is paid at your first appointment. Final payment is due prior to receiving the written report.
